Responsibilities

In this position you are in charge of the Wealth Management for the whole group, i.e the entities in Switzerland and abroad. You are a member of the Bank’s Executive Committee and report to the CEO. You will guarantee that performance, development and service in Private Banking are respecting high standards in ethics and values according to the internal guidelines of the Bank, the Swiss laws and the rules of the supervisory authority (FINMA).

You manage several teams of Relationship Managers, in Switzerland, Europe and the Middle-East, you develop the business with focus on the areas where the bank is active. You ensure that your team members have the know-how and professional training required and of course all the soft skills needed to enable them to serve clients in a compliant and efficient manner.

As a manager, you have a strong team spirit and know how to motivate and coach the team members and give them guidelines.

 

Requirements

Client and service focused, you have a large experience and deep knowledge in Wealth Management as well as an excellent understanding of Private Banking, asset management and tax issues. You have a good knowledge of the Swiss and European markets as well as the Middle-East and Africa.

You are holder of a university degree in economics or finance and/or of an additional degree like AZEK, CAIA or CFA. Fluent communication skills in French and English (oral and written) are required, good working knowledge in German would be an asset.

Regarding your personality, you are a trustworthy, loyal and reliable person, with a strong professional commitment and attached to ethical values. You are willing to reach the objectives, extend the business and providing a high level of professionalism.

Nationality: Swiss or European (C permit), domicile in Switzerland is required.

Chief Financial Officer, banking field

Our client is a medium-sized, well-known and well established international Bank. They have their world headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, and are working in Private, Investment and Corporate Banking.

The actual job holder retired recently, therefore the Bank is seeking for their new

Chief Financial Officer (f/m)

 

As a member of the Executive Committee of the Bank and reporting directly to the CEO, the person will be responsible of all the usual activities related to the budget, the financial statements and reports of the Bank, of the middle-office, planning and taxation. He/she will be in charge of the relations and communication with the external auditors, and the regulators and the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA).

 

Profile

We are looking for a personality with a deep and large professional background and several years of successful experience as a CFO or Deputy CFO in the banking sector in Switzerland or as a senior consultant in the financial sector in one of the big audit companies.

 

The person has to be familiar with the rules and legislation in the banking sector of this country.

Obviously, this manager and leader must be a trustworthy and reliable person, with a strong professional commitment and attached to ethical values. Besides a positive and entrepreneurial attitude, he must have a high sensibility and a very good comprehension of the business. Thanks to his experience and know-how, he has a vision and a global view off all the activities of the Bank. He will be credible and persuasive in front of the representatives and the teams of the Bank and it will allow him, even in complex situations, to find the right and appropriate solutions.

 

Working place: Geneva

Qualifications

Mission et responsabilités

 

En tant que membre du comité de direction rapportant au Directeur général, vous participez à l’élaboration de la stratégie et êtes en charge de la gestion et de la planification financière du groupe. A ce titre, vous assurez le contrôle de gestion, le suivi de la performance du groupe et de celle de ses unités.

 

Personnalité et compétences recherchées

 

Vous avez des compétences éprouvées et une expérience solide et réussie de plusieurs années dans une fonction à responsabilités au niveau de la gestion financière et comptable, de la comptabilité analytique, du contrôle de gestion, de l’administration et de l’opérationnel ;

Excellent gestionnaire, vous êtes rigoureux et précis, avec un grand sens des responsabilités et de l’organisation, un esprit analytique et de synthèse. Manager disponible et ouvert, vous avez l’esprit d’initiative, le sens de la communication et du relationnel ;

Vous êtes au bénéfice d’une formation supérieure dans le domaine financier ou de la gestion (universitaire, HES ou équivalente, formation professionnelle tel que Brevet fédéral de spécialiste en finance et comptabilité).

Une expérience dans le domaine de la santé ou du médico-social en Suisse est indispensable.
